Our Culture

Every company has ‘core values’ — but what’s more important is that those values translate to something tangible. Here are some practical examples illustrating how who we are shapes what we do:

Belief

  • We give away 25% of all company profits to faith-based organizations

  • We ensure our company’s Christian values are reflected in our actual financial strategies — more than simply company branding or customer service

  • We proactively invest in companies making a positive impact and absolutely will not invest in companies with a negative or questionable impact — far more judicious than merely avoiding ‘sin stocks’ or trusting an ESG score.

  • We champion generosity in the lives our clients

  • We emphasize stewardship and legacy rather than personal gain, knowing that money is ultimately not ours to keep

Integrity

  • We charge no commissions or markup transaction fees, we require no account minimums, and we offer no client incentives whatsoever based on income or net worth

  • We operate as a fiduciary, meaning we are legally obligated to serve clients’ best interest above and before the company’s

  • We have no parent company, meaning no sales quotas and no external incentives to recommend one investment vehicle over another

  • We very transparently communicate if there is ever any conflict of interest that could be influencing our financial advice - we don’t have fine print.

  • We emphasize values-activation and net return on investment rather than marketing specific financial products which miss the forest for the trees.

Action

  • We engage in hands-on, in-house portfolio management specifically and uniquely for each client — we don’t place block trades; we never lump clients into groups

  • We target investments that carry the potential to elevate our clients’ financial capacities, not just serve as byproducts of them

  • We constantly research, aggregate, and discern through information in order to navigate the ever-changing economic landscape

  • We take calculated risk, particularly for the sake of catalyzing positive transformation in our world and disrupting inhibitory status quos

  • We emphasize the quality and custom-fit suitability of our investment advice; we don’t have cookie-cutter solutions.

Relation

  • We allow client relationships to form genuinely and organically, on our client’s terms & in our client’s timing. We don’t make sales calls, we don’t ask for referrals, we don’t do prospecting, and we don’t do sales training.

  • We offer clear, easy access to the person actually managing clients’ investments — instead of limiting clients to a sales rep who acts as the extension of someone else’s leadership and portfolio management

  • We communicate regularly to clients about their investments and our outlook

  • We limit our advisors to a maximum of 150 households in order to ensure clients are authentically, personally known. Our clients are never viewed as numbers on a screen or customers of a product,

  • We emphasize real relationship. As a small business, we genuinely care about our clients, cherishing the trust required for a healthy a money-management relationship, and taking the weight of our responsibility seriously.
